phyto-form: eight sculptures exhibited in the garden of Levens Hall, Cumbria, 2001

inspiration: the systems of armature hidden inside the great topiary forms for which Levens is renowned; the shapes and fabrics of period dress

materials: scaffolding poles, galvanised wire, rubber hose, alpine and annual plants - sempervivums, sedums, echeverias, alternantheras
